Tula’s Institute organised a two day International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication and Automation (ICACCA-2017) in the college premises.
The two-day programme laid emphasis on high performance computing, advances in communication, network and social network analysis, intelligent control system, artificial intelligence and image processing and cloud computing.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was, Vice-Chancellor (VC) Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology Gorakhpur, Proffesor SN Singh and Guest of Honour was Dr Marcin Paprzycki of Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland.
Addressing the conference, the Executive Director of Tula’s Institute, Silky Jain emphasised on the role of research in the developing scenario. She also briefed on how Tula’s Institute is focusing on this by organising such an important event for the third time in Uttarakhand.
On Day one, the Chairman Tula’s Institute, Sunil Kumar Jain welcomed all the delegates and emphasised on the role of research as it helps the society as a whole. An expert talk was given by Prof SN Singh on the topic ‘Future Electric Grid a Reality’ on the occasion. Later, Dr Marcin briefed the students about Semantic Interoperability in IOT.
On the second day Dean School of Computing Taylor University Malaysia Dr David Asirvatham, gave a presentation on the topic ‘Big data and smart mobility’. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat of School of Computing and IT, Manipal University elaborated on low power communication for IOT.
The two-day long conference received more than 300 research papers. Later in a valedictory session, Director Tula’s Institute Prof Pramod Kumar and the conference chair proposed the vote of thanks.
The conference was attended by, Director Uttarakhand Science Education Research Centre (USERC) Dehradun, Durgesh Pant, Director General-Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow, Prof OP Sharma and Dr Vinay Rishiwal from MJP Rohilkhand University.
Others present on the occasion were Registrar Tula’s Institute Dr Pavan Chaubey, Anuj Kumar Singh, Piyush Dhuliya, Sunil Semwal, Pradeep Kothiyal and Vaibhav Kumar.
